I always like to keep an eye on the weather when I have a session. There isn't anything I can do to change the weather and I do make accommodations, but I like to be prepared. Going into this session, I was a little nervous it would be rained out.
I was driving two hours and the couple was driving a little over an hour, it was literally now or never. But the forecast stated that we would not have any rain. So I took a chance and kept the session. And it paid off!
They had a request that they would get some photos with the cutest dog, Huckleberry! I was more than happy to oblige. But, ultimately, the location came down to a decision that they wanted Lake photos and Maumee Bay was the perfect mixture of forest, Lake Erie and various scenic spots that we fell in love with.
Despite the cloud cover, there was no rain. But there was a wonderful wind that created drama and motion! We had a wonderful time learning about each other and documenting their beautiful love story!
